Hi, I’m Ashley Becker, and it’s an honor to serve as the Executive Director of Hope Lives! The Lydia Dody Breast Cancer Support Center.
This work is deeply personal. As the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, and someone who’s stood beside many friends and family members through their own diagnoses, I’ve seen how vital support can be. I know what it means to walk through treatment and to walk beside someone you love during theirs. No one should ever have to do that alone.
At Hope Lives!, we support more than patients; we support people. Neighbors. Community members. The person beside us in the grocery store, the school pickup line, or the doctor’s waiting room. In this role, my priority is ensuring every client feels seen, valued, and supported in ways that honor their unique story and needs.
My background includes leadership roles in higher education, athletics, retail, and nonprofit organizations across the country, including Colorado State University, The University of Texas, and Aims Community College. I’ve dedicated my career to building impactful programs, strengthening partnerships, and expanding access to life-changing services. Now, I’m proud to help lead Hope Lives! into its next chapter, one grounded in compassion, connection, and growth.
This mission matters to me because breast cancer continues to impact more and more individuals and families each year, and with that comes a growing need for meaningful, community-based support. I’m committed to honoring the legacy of our founder, Lydia Dody, and the many clients, providers, staff, volunteers, board members, and donors who have made Hope Lives! what it is today.
This is more than a job. It’s purpose. And I truly look forward to connecting with you as we continue this work together locally, and one day, nationally. Hope Lives! when we show up for one another; it takes all of us.
